The Waverly/South Shore school board and the Town of South Shore board met for a special board meeting on March 31, 2011 at 7:40 p.m. in the gym at the South Shore Elementary.

The meeting was called to order by D. Strang with the following members present-Waverly: D. Strang, M. Fischer, A. Heuer, J. Buchholz, D. Thyen, D. Jones, and M. Hemmingson-business manager. Town of South Shore: J. Meyer, J. Strong, R. Grewing, and K. Meyer-finance officer.

Motion by Fischer, second by Meyer to approve the agenda with no changes.  Motion carried.

Recognized the presence of the interested parties attending.

Discussion of the fixed assets from the South Shore site.  Questions from the group were answered by the boards.

Discussion of the lease of the gym and bus garage for 2011-2012 school year.  The Waverly/South Shore school board proposed leasing these facilities for $1,000.00 to $1,200.00 for 12 months with the stipulation that the school have first choice during the basketball season..  The Town of South Shore will be taking this under consideration and let the school board know at a later date.  Questions from the group were answered by the boards. 

Motion by Buchholz, second by Strong to adjourn at 8:25 p.m.  Motion carried.

The next regularly scheduled meeting is April 11, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in Waverly for the school board.
